A Cream And Beige Transitional Style Bathroom
This bathroom is the perfect example of a bathroom that has been designed to be 100% functional. As you can see it is a relatively small bathroom, yet the triangular positioning of all of the major fixtures leaves ample space for maneuverability in the center.

The use of a large unframed mirror makes the room appear larger. The use of deep and large recessed shelving provides plenty for space for bathroom essentials. This design can be termed transitional, because it is neither contemporary nor traditional. Simply put, a transitional design is one that is simple without using accents and decorations to create a specific theme.
The use of beige and cream also makes the room appear larger, and actually brightens it up, which compensates for the lack of natural light from a window. The large tiles also add to the spacious atmosphere, whereas smaller tiles may have been lost in a bathroom of this size.
Shower tubs are excellently suited to smaller bathrooms, allowing the homeowners to bathe luxuriously, or take a quick shower if they are pressed for time.
Although it looks like the space beneath the sink is lost, one could in fact use this area for a wastepaper basket, an extra toilet paper holder, and a small shelf rack for toiletries. The vessel sink is perhaps the focal point here, being something completely different.
The use of chrome works well with cream and beige tiles, and the glass shower wall also enhances the feeling of spaciousness. Looking at a bathroom like this, it looks as though it needs so much more to create a specific atmosphere, when in fact once again the simple use of a vase of colorful flowers and perhaps a sandstone statuette, either side of the vessel sink, would work wonders.
All in all, its thumbs up for this transitional tile design.
